Rate Manual Section 5.11:
Please be advised that the prior manner of charging for mechanics' lien coverage has been replaced with a percentage Charge of the applicable premium. This Charge may not be waived when giving mechanics' lien coverage when insuring a construction mortgage if, by reason of the visible commencement of erection or construction of an improvement, a statutory lien for labor or material may gain priority over the instrument being insured.
